How far would you drive for America's Favorite Pizza?

Joyce and Ed Strushensky of Johnstown, Pennsylvania thought 200 miles was reasonable.  After watching the November 1^st Oprah Winfrey Show on America's Favorite Pizzas, the Strushenskys decided to drive down to Ledo Restaurant and taste the pizza for themselves.  They joined the hungry crowd just in time for the viewing party.

Tommy Marcos' Ledo Restaurant held a Viewing Party on Saturday, November 4^th to celebrate their appearance on the Oprah Winfrey Show.  Free pizza samples were offered to all patrons at the party.  Wearing a festive tie with pictures of pizza, Jimmy Marcos, son of the original restaurateur, Tommy Marcos Sr., served slices of pepperoni and onion pizza, the pizza enjoyed by Oprah Winfrey friend and interviewer, Gayle King.  The Strushenskys also enjoyed the big Italian salad and the turkey bacon sub.  The Pennsylvania pizza devotees ordered a large pizza to take home to their friends: sausage, mushroom, and extra of the smoked provolone cheese that has caught everyone's attention. 

The segment of the Oprah Winfrey Show was aired on the televisions in the bar.  Fans of the pizza, the  restaurant, and the Marcos family crowded in to watch as Gayle King told her friend, Oprah, about her visit to her favorite pizzeria: Ledo.  King brought along University of Maryland basketball legend, Len Elmore to feast on the pizza she loved 30 years earlier when she was in college.  The fans in Ledo's bar  cheered and applauded as they saw their friends and co-workers on the Oprah Show.
